Time to rethink protein analysis
The Rapid N is a nitrogen and protein analyzer based on the Dumas method. It performs routine analyses of food or feed samples up to 1g in your laboratory. The rapid N exceed offers a fast, safe, and environmentally friendly alternative to the classical Kjeldahl method.
As the most innovative enterprise in the field of elemental analysis, Elementar has advanced traditional analytical technology to a new level. A completely new method reduces nitric oxides and absorbs excess oxygen in the analysis gas to achieve this.
Thanks to a defined interaction between reduction and oxidation (patent applied for) ,the reduction agent is automatically generated during operation. This allows the reduction reactor (reductor) to be used for several thousand samples without the need for changes or maintenance.
At the same time, the newly developed rapid N exceed uses proven technology: CO2 as the carrier gas, saving the finite resource helium while ensuring stable prices and constant availability.
The rapid N exceed offers the fastest protein analysis with analysis times of less than four minutes and the highest sample throughput in its class. Its post-combustion technology ensures precise results, regardless of the sample matrix. Designed for continuous operation, the rapid N exceed runs 24/7, 365 days a year, without interruption.
