DHR 95 – Digital Handheld Refractometer

Digital handheld refractometer – Brixmeter

This digital handheld refractometer DHR by SCHMIDT + HAENSCH enables fast, on-site measurements of liquid with both high or low viscosity.

The full view of the LCD screen of the DHR displays reliable, high-precision results (up to five digits) within just 2 seconds. SCHMIDT + HAENSCH’s DHR is versatile and ideal for agriculture to determine harvest timing, or in the automotive industry to analyze antifreeze.

Features of the digital handheld refractometer

  • Ideal refractometer for fast, on-site analysis
  • Specific scales for many applications
  • 5-digit LCD display
  • Measurement results in fewer than 2 seconds

Easy to use

Place the sample on a flat surface, and results are available within seconds. For instance, using a handheld refractometer, you can easily determine the harvest time by measuring the sugar content in apples, just 0.1 ml of fruit juice is enough for analysis.

The Brix scale is temperature-compensated from +5 to 70 °C. Additional measurement scales are available upon request.

Digital handheld refractometer in depth

The digital handled refractometer is CE certified, IP65 dustproof, and water resistant. It comes with a well-designed case to keep your handheld refractometer protected and secure.

It features a 5-digit LCD screen that shows results in fewer than 2 seconds. It’s suitable for measurement of liquid media with low to high viscosity possible. It also features a compact, user-friendly design with reliable, automatic temperature-compensated Brix values between +5 and 70 °C.

A wide range of models is available for analyzing materials such as honey, wine, saline, glycol, or antifreeze.
