Digital multi-wavelength refractometer
This multi-wavelength refractometer capable of performing simple dispersion measurements at seven wavelengths across the entire visible spectrum. The digital, fully automatic spectral refractometer ATR L features a robust stainless steel measuring unit and a separate electronic control unit.
Features of the multi-wavelength refractometer
- High-precision refractometer
- Automatic dispersion measurement
- Seven wavelengths fixed with full range of visible light
- Automatic measurement of Abbe-number
- Ideal for research and development
- Measurement of solid samples possible
- Able to discriminate ingredients with the same refractive index
- Powerful, internal Peltier temperature control guaranties the fastest measurements with highest accuracy
Easy to use
Only 0.3 mL of sample is required to achieve high-precision measurements.
A range of sample compartment lids makes it possible to measure both solid and liquid samples. The built-in Peltier thermostat (no external water bath necesasry) ensures precise sample temperature control.
Different combinations of customer-specified wavelengths are available.
Applications
- Research and development labs, where the exact knowledge of material properties is of great importance
- Medical research (plastic lenses, contact lenses)
- Optical communication technology (polymer materials, special optical liquids, glasses and glues)
- Fingerprinting characterization of high-quality products like wine, perfumes, alcoholic beverages, etc
- Determining product purity, quality control of samples
- Quality control of hydrophobic and hydrophilic intraocular lenses (IOL)
