The rapid MAX N exceed offers the fastest N/protein determination in just 5 minutes. When paired with the 90-position autosampler, it can process up to 300 samples per day. Thanks to the proprietary EAS REGAINER® technology, it can run over 1000 samples without needing to replace the reducing agent. This ensures minimal maintenance and maximum system uptime for industry-leading performance.
Sample flexibility
The upright crucible design ensures optimal combustion of various liquid samples, such as milk, beer, soft drinks, juice, soy sauce, and more. When combined with the unique post-combustion technology, it guarantees reliably high, matrix-independent data quality. Solid samples of up to 1 g can be measured with exceptional precision and accuracy.

High temperature combustion ensures 100% recovery and detection of the released nitrogen. This enables N/Protein “Dumas” analysis in compliance with AOAC, DIN/ISO, EN, and other relevant standards. - Easy sample handling
Direct weigh-in into re-usable crucibles (steel or ceramics) without any special pre-treatment. Suitable for solids or liquids up to several grams or milliliters. - Safe, fast, clean
The analysis takes only a few minutes. No aggressive or toxic chemicals required. Physical and chemical separation of water and and interfering gases. - Large concentration range
from 20 ppm to 100% or 500 mg absolute N content. - Few operational requirements
Less than 1 m laboratory working space, 1 electrical connection and 2 operating gases are sufficient for maintenance free long term operation. Operation with helium or argon carrier gas are standard. - Fully automatic
