Hotblocks for metal sample digestion in laboratories
The Environmental Express Hotblocks provide an innovative solution for metal sample digestion in laboratories. With the ability to process up to 96 samples simultaneously, these Hotblocks ensure uniform temperature conditions for consistent and precise digestion.
The HotBlock is constructed with a PTFE-coated graphite block housed in a Kydex® shell. This ensures that no metallic parts are exposed to reduce corrosion risks from the highly acidic environment. It utilizes disposable polypropylene digestion tubes for all EPA-approved metals digestions. This helps laboratories eliminate the need for washing glassware.
The AutoBlock takes laboratory automation to the next level by fully automating the metals digestion process. With this system, users no longer need to manually add acids and reagents to samples, set timers for heat-off, or adjust temperatures according to specific method requirements.
