TOC/TNb analysis without limitations
The enviro TOC is a revolutionary, newly designed total organic carbon analyzer for the determination of organically and inorganically bound carbon in liquids, slurries, and solids.
For the first time, ppb-sensitivity for measuring TOC or TNb in aqueous solutions is combined with the accuracy and reliability of organic elemental analysis to automatically measure up to 100% carbon concentrations in any sample matrix.
Measuring modes for TC/TIC, TOC/NPOC, POC and DOC are available. The formed CO2 is purified through a halogen trap with a subsequent tree-step intensive gas drying system. CO2 is detected by a super wide range NDIR-photometer offering extraordinary linearity, free of spectral interferences even against SO2, and an outstanding concentration without the need for sample dilution.
A newly developed matrix separation system (patent pending) ensures long-lasting, uninterrupted operation times for mineral-containing samples such as seawater. Determination of bound total nitrogen (TNb) as NO is possible using an optional electrochemical sensor (EC), infrared detector (NDIR), or chemiluminescence detector (CLD), with sensitivity down to the ppb level.

Measuring method

From low ppb to percent. Variable sample volume enables multipoint calibration from a single standard solution with auto-dilution-effect. Extraordinary linearity over the entire calibration range.

Real matrix separation
The new reactor concept enables real matrix separation and offers maximum protection of the combustion tube. Excellent properties for analyses of saline solutions (e.g. brine) or other complicated sample matrices.
Software with high performance and maximum flexibility
Instrument control with a Windows standard PC, control and evaluation software with calibration wizard, system suitability test, statistics and advanced math operations. Optional 21 CFR part 11 compliance is available. Integrated maintenance software and comprehensive help menu are also available.
