This state-of-the-art refractometer, the VariRef, delivers high-precision measurements throughout the entire product lifecycle and supports multi-point calibration for a wide measurement range and efficient maintenance. The VariRef’s fast temperature control and adjustable sample compartment allow for precise measurement of both liquid and solid samples.
Facile à utiliser
The new double-insulated Peltier system enables fast temperature control and minimizes the impact of ambient conditions, ensuring rapid and precise measurements. The VariRef features SCHMIDT + HAENSCH’s proven flat sample chamber design, making it easy to clean and maintain.
Different sample chamber covers for liquids and solids allow the device to be adapted to your specific application. For hard-to-clean or hazardous materials, a special covered version is available to ensure long-term reliability.

Applications
SCHMIDT + HAENSCH refractometers are ideal for purity checks, sample identification, dilution control, and substance characterization. They are especially suited for analyzing organic liquids and raw materials to determine composition.
With interchangeable sample chamber covers, the device can also measure solid samples, making it suitable for additional applications like quality control of optical films, glass, or fibers.
